Sinulog 2011- an unforgettable blasting event of my life

Morning. We were actually sleeping at the Sinulog Foundation in order to do our job as intern because i was assigned for the food of the PSG or the Presidential Security Group of our President Benigno "Noy Noy" Aquino Jr. It was a big task for me because it was not easy to get the food that we've ordered at the Jolibee ACT branch. Imagine there were 82 PSG gosh how about that and to think its raining. So i had finished my first task and that was a relief but suddenly i wonder why we cant go upstairs to witness the dancing contingent later that day the President just arrived the security was like a sponge squeezing huh. I concluded on that day we are living in a democratic country so why do they treat us just like alien who were access denied on their faces but as the raining morning past by i understand that they were just doing their job.

Afternoon on that day Mr. President at last leaved the Sports Center and making the area a peaceful one, what a relief huh!!!. Another task was being told us to do and that task is to assist and be the ushers of the media center (where media people sleep, have a break, search in the net because its free wi fi access) we had successfully finish our task in the media center and after wards here comes the pictorial part with the stars of course and the contingents.

Darkness scattered all the area of the Sports Center because its Evening. Evening was a little bit rainy but we had enjoyed watching those sparkling lights all over the skies in the Sports Center or should i say Fireworks, that ended the whole production of Sinulog.

Lesson Learned:
No matter what task you are into just think positive that you can surpassed it with a smile. Avoid being an attitude one or murmuring because it can ruined your day.

I was an intern organizer of this event at first i thought that this event was just small a one but when i saw it on that night their were too many people watching the event. Because It was the event of blasting colors from different costumes of the Festival Queen finalist that can make the audience wow. I really didn't watch the full show because i was busy in my task for the food of the candidates and the judges. And lastly i was a very busy in the production of the event so there is no time for me to watch the full show i missed the colorful performances of the different queens in the Philippines. And now im still hoping that one day i will be one of them heheheh in my dreams...

Lesson learned

Sometimes you must sacrifice your happiness in order to make the event successful and it was really successful thanks to senyor Sto. Niño Viva Pit senyor.

The first Sinulog Fun Run 2011

Waking up early in the morning is just like a zombie. I woke up 3 am and our call time for the Fun Run event is at 4:30 am and the job has started we were theproduction team on that day helping the dance crew and music fest of my co-intern. Ushered and not a rusher @ Sinulog Photo Exhibit at Sm Cebu

December 15, 2010

Me and my co-foundationers (A term we used intern in Sinulog Foundation) was ushering the guest and not a rusher in the event by Ma. Inesa Ceniza (intern organizer) and it was very successful because many people watch the glamorous and beautiful photo's that won last 2010 Sinulog Photo Contest. It was a little bit stressful but we give our best to make the guests comfortable.

Lesson learned:
Give your best shot and break a leg.

P.A (Proud to be an Assistant)

December 3, 2010

It was the day that I've never expected to be one of the P.A of the Emcee which is Madame Persia Leyte on the event about media killing with the Canadian Ambassador to the Philippines which is Mr. Marshall Mcluhan.
To tell you frankly i was not able to listen to those what the speaker discuss because I was busy assisting Madame Leyte for anything she needs. It was a great task for me and I'm proud to be one of the assistant because i didn't have any experience yet in this Big event , Even though I'm pressured on that day i was able to complete my task thank to the help of my co-assistants Kenneth John Galano and Losyl Villarico.

Lesson learned:
Helping each other can make the event even more brighter.
Teamwork.
